Grumpy Kid

I'm mad!!

We have had another wild, crazy week with all of our house stuff, and this has been further complicated by our grumpy child!! It really all started this past weekend. Harry just seemed all out of sorts...lots of crying, not enjoying car rides, just overall not himself. I was kind of worried and I kept thinking to myself, do kids get attitudes this early?? However he has been a lot better this week so I'm thinking maybe he wasn't getting enough sleep with us being so busy or he is most likely teething which I'm sure hurts him a lot. I do sympathize, but I sure would like to have my old son back!! Speaking of this weekend, Nana and Poppy were in town for their class reunion so we spent a lot of time with them, we went over to see the progress on our new house, and Travis and I started packing up our belongings. It is so hard to believe we will have a new home in a little over a week!! We can't wait!

So stylin'

This photo is from last week when we went to go eat dinner with Travis. These overalls are soooo cute, but unfortunately this is the last time he will wear them. He got a little too tall for them!!

Um, Mom, I'm a little bit too busy to talk.

Harry is still loving the Exersaucer. He loves all of the toys in it...I guess I should say he loves putting all of the toys in his mouth. Which brings me to Harry's new favorite activity--grabbing things! He is now reaching out for everything he can get his hands on--hair, jewlery, toys, glasses, noses, lips, ears, dogs, cats. Basically whatever comes into his path! It amazes me how strong little babies can be!! He has inflicted great pain on me and everyone else who has held him this past week! I know this is a huge developmental step for him, but I can't wait until he can understand what the word "gentle" means!!

Ha! I got it!

He can also be very stealth-like with his grabbing technique. I was changing him this morning and he picked up this puppy that was laying behind him and I didn't even see him trying to do it until he had it in his hands.

This is officially the funniest place Harry has fallen asleep (besides the Exersaucer). We got home after running errands yesterday, and I had to use the bathroom so bad I just plopped him on the floor for a minute. When I got back, he was already asleep. I think it is so cute how he had his little foot and hand on the chair. Don't worry--I only left him there long enough to take a picture (or 2)!!

No, Mommy, don't tickle me!!

Funny Face

One last thing, I forgot to mention that Harry is super close to laughing! I can usually get him going with tickling him. He mostly shrieks, but occasionally he will string a few huh huhs together!
