We're Sorry!!

Four Months Old!!

First of all, I would like to apologize to all of our fans for the posting delay! When you find out what we've been up to, I think you will understand! I will try to make this an extra long one! To start off, Harrison is now officially 4 months old! It seems like he has changed so much during this month...he is rolling over (in just one direction still), sleeping on his belly, playing with toys, trying to sprout some teeth, making a lot more noises, trying to sit up. It seems like he changes daily! We are blessed with such a happy, healthy, adorable baby!

Aaaah! I'm a cutie!

Cooing at Daddy

Daddy is sooooo funny!

The 17th of August was big for us in another reason besides Harry's 4 month birthday...we bought a new house! We bought a spec home in the same neighborhood that we were going to build. It was a perfect fit...the house will be done in September and we won't have to be out of here until some time in October. We fell in love with the house when we saw it. It is a nicer model than we were going to build, but it doesn't have a finished basement. That will come with time, though! Don't worry...Trav will get his bar sometime! We are so excited...we should close on our current home in the next few weeks and we close on our new house on the 18th of September. I'll post some pics when I get some.

Allright! I get to move to a new house!

We left for Harry's second trip to Tennessee last Thursday. We had a great time! He was a little fussy at times on the trip down, but I think it may have had something to do with his infant seat getting a little snug. We took care of that problem by getting him a new big boy car seat while we were down there. He can use this one until he is 65 lbs. The ride home was a lot smoother! We also went to Harry's first baseball game in Chattanooga Friday night. He was so good and we had a great time. Thanks for the tickets, Aunt Sara!!

Life on the road is tough!

Poor little guy was worn out by the time we left the game. He slept through his photo op with Looie, the Lookouts' mascot. Daddy wanted to do it anyway! We also found a t-shirt at the game that had the name "Harrison" on the back on clearance! What are the odds?? We couldn't pass it up even though it will be quite a while until he can fit in it. We didn't do a whole lot else besides hang out at the pool. Harry looked so cute in his little trunks! He didn't seem scared of the water, but he wasn't too fired up about it either! Next year we probably won't be able to keep him out of the water!!

Look at my belly, Aunt Sara!

Chillin' in the pool

Today we had Harry's 4 month well baby check. The doc gave him a great report and said he looked like a million bucks! He was 17 lbs which puts him at the 90th percentile. He did really well with the shots...he cried (and screamed!) and turned really red but he quit as soon as I picked him up. I can tell he is a little bit more cranky and sleepy today, but I don't blame him!

You see, I start like this....

And end up like this!!!

Our little boy is officially rolling over from his back to tummy on a regular basis now! Of course, we think this is totally fascinating but it has created a fairly large problem for us. He will no longer sleep on his back in his crib. He had been sleeping on his side pretty routinely ever since he started the early stages of rolling, but now he flips all the way over on his belly which causes us to worry a lot. I usually go in to check on him every time I wake up to make sure he is still breathing!! I know, a little neurotic. The first night he wouldn't stop flipping all the way over we took out the nice plushy bumpers out of his crib. Little did we know that it would cause his little arms and legs to hang out the side of the crib everytime he got close to the edge. This dilemma kept us up a large portion of the night. We ended up getting a mesh bumper that keeps all body parts in the crib and is safer. So far it has worked out great! He slept from 10pm to 8am last night!

Thank you, Granny!

Another week has gone by and Harry received another toy! This time Granny brought over an Exersaucer for him as a surprise! It was funny, we had thought about getting him one when we bought the jumperoo so I was glad we didn't! He really likes it! It has the cutest circus theme on it. He really gets a kick out of spinning around in the seat and seeing what is behind him.

You mean I get to keep it??!!

This is awesome!

This is a photo of Harry "playing" with his toy that is like the dash of a car. He hasn't quite gotten the hang of that one yet!

So bored!!

This demonstrates the perils of asking Daddy to dress the baby...you never know what he will come out in! I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but he is wearing a penguin t-shirt that we got him at the Newport Aquarium and shorts that have a fire station emblem on them! In Trav's defense, he was previously wearing a firefighter themed shirt that went with the shorts that got wet from some major drool. Let's just hope Harry didn't inherit Daddy's fashion sense!!

Awesome outfit, Daddy!!

Yessss! A new toy!

Little Harry suckered his Mom and Dad into buying him another new toy this weekend...a Jumperoo! As you can tell from the picture, he loves it! Have you ever seen him so purely excited?? He was so ready to put those strong legs to the test. Travis and I decided it was the best money on toys we had spent yet.

Thanks Dada and Mama!

Nana and Poppy came this weekend for the race! Harry had a lot of fun visiting with them! We met up with everyone at Maggiano's for dinner Friday night and of course, ate waaay too much! That was pretty much the theme for the whole weekend because Granny fed us everyday as well. Harry was absolutely perfect the whole weekend of course. He even rolled over for Daddy and Poppy on the floor on Saturday and at Jamie's on Sunday! Of course, I was at work and missed the whole thing!

Marathon Nap

He is currently taking a super long nap...he has been asleep for about 2 1/2 hours! If he doesn't wake up soon, I'll have to get him up so he'll sleep well tonight!
