Hello, is anyone there??
We have been on the go this weekend! Friday night we took Harry to finally get his pictures taken by someone other than me! He got his 3 month pictures taken at Sears, and I cannot wait to get them back! They looked like they turned out so well. He did a really good job, and she managed to get some big grins out of him. We then met up with Chris, Scottie, Julia, Esther and Paul at PF Chang's for dinner. We then went over to Chris's house to hang out with everyone and his new kittie, Lola. We stayed out way past our bedtimes--we didn't leave Indy until midnight! This is a picture of him after his photo session was over...he was worn out!
The Tired Little Model
Saturday, we headed over to Indy again for a wedding. Travis' half sister Danielle was getting married. Harry had never met anyone on that side of the family and I think he was a big hit! We actually just went over for the reception...we didn't think he was ready for a Catholic ceremony just yet! He had on the cutest outfit! He looked like he belonged in Florida on the beach!
Miami Vice
All of this partying is wearing me out!
We had one more party to go to today. Payton had her 9th birthday party today, so Harry got to attend his first birthday party. He was pretty fussy at first, I think it was a mix of him being ready for a nap and the fact that there was a bunch of strangers checking him out right off the bat. He took a nap in his swing and was ready to go after that. We even took a dip in the pool that he seemed to enjoy!
Happy Birthday, Payton!
Here's a shot of him trying his best to roll over...he'll get there someday!
Almost there!!

Sunday we put Harry in his highchair for the first time. He looked so cute and so little! He didn't seem to mind it too much. We were all excited and he looked at us like, what's the big deal, guys? Trav grilled out some steaks and we sat at the table and ate as a family for the first time. It was pretty cool! It made us excited for when he can eat some solid food with us, but I don't want him growing up too fast!
Yeah, so what? I'm sitting in a highchair!
Last night as I was making dinner (okay, stop laughing everyone!) Harry was sitting in his swing. I heard a strange rattle and I looked over to see what was going on. He was playing with the toys on the bar that attaches to the swing! I had started putting it on hoping he would notice them sooner or later, but this was the first time he checked them out. I had never seen him do anything like that so, of course, I grabbed the camera!
Playing with the toys
We had a set back last night with the sleeping all night in the crib scenario. He woke up at 1:30 and 4:30! Yuck! I couldn't believe it, things had been going so well! I'm thinking maybe he didn't feel well or something. I keep checking his gums to see if he's teething because he's been showing some signs, but I haven't discovered anything yet.

What a cutie pie!
Harry turned 3 months old today on our 2nd anniversary! To celebrate, we went to Los Amigos (of course!) and topped it off with a trip to Wal Mart. I know what you're thinking...totally romantic!! It is amazing to think about how much he has changed in 3 short months. He is already trying to sit up on his own and trying to roll over. He responds so well to people and is starting to show some interest in the dogs and cats. I can also tell it won't be long until he is out of the infant seat. Before we know it, he'll be eating solids and sitting in the highchair! He is such a good boy--we are so lucky to have him!
Look at that dimple!
Getting bigger every day!
Yesterday we went over to Indy to meet up with Uncle Chris, Molly, and Esther to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. This was the first time Molly had been able to see Harry in person, so it was an extra special day! We had a really fun time and Harry was so good. He slept the whole time while we were eating. Hopefully we will be living in Indy soon so we can do things like that more often! In another good boy report, Harry slept from 10:30 last night until 6am this morning. That is 7 1/2 hours straight!! I even had to wake him up to feed him before I left for work. Hopefully this will become a pattern...but I won't hold my breath!!

A Big Boy Sleeping in His Big Bed

Why so serious??
We finally bit the bullet...Harry is out of the bassinet and in his crib! I finally gave up and realized it was time when he was pretty much the same length as the bassinet and everytime he moved he hit the sides and I was afraid he would knock it over!! He has spent 3 nights in the crib and it is going pretty well. He loves the mobile, but it takes longer to get him to sleep. I think he keeps waking himself up because I bit another bullet and stopped swaddling him. His limbs have never known so much freedom! Once we get him to sleep though, it is great! He has been sleeping 6 or 7 hours at a time! It's probably because I can't hear every little move he makes and jump out of bed everytime he wakes up.
He has also started to show a little interest in some toys. His little hands and arms are always on the go, so I put a wrist rattle on him and I think he liked it. He still won't grab for anything quite yet, but I think it could be any day now.
Well, I hope this satisfies Uncle Chris for a while. I have to finish picking the house up before our realtor comes over tonight. And yes, I have to feed the baby. 3 months coming up soon!!

Harry and I spent most of today by ourselves because Travis went to the Formula One race with Uncle Rob and Chris. Harry wasn't very good company today...the following pictures will explain why.
Notice the "Formula One" on his outfit in honor of today's event!!
Grouchy boy trying to wake up from a nap
He slept almost the whole morning and afternoon!! Anyone who has spent any length of time around my child understands how rare this occasion is!! You might think this sounds nice, but I am so used to trying to constantly entertain and talk to him that I was kind of lonely! Mom came over in the afternoon and sat with him while I did some cleaning and laundry (yuck!), so at least I had someone to talk to. We did get a very special email today...ultrasoud pictures of Uncle George and Aunt Audra's baby boy! Harry's cousin Nicholas (at least that's his name for now) is due November 5th.
My Nephew...what a cutie!
The next few pics are of Harry playing with his gym. He absolutely loves it! He totally cracks up at the star that hangs from the top. Thanks to the Strawhackers for suggesting it!
Mesmerized by the star
I love this thing!!
